Our Story

RootedGardening began with a simple conviction: the tools and vessels we use in the garden deserve as much care as the plants we grow in it. Too much of what fills a garden shed is destined for the landfill within a season or two. We wanted to offer the opposite — pieces made from honest materials by people who understand them, built to be used hard and handed down.

Every item in our collection is chosen for the same reasons. Steel that is forged, not stamped. Copper and brass that earn their patina. Stoneware and terracotta thrown and fired by hand. Corten and zinc that grow more beautiful the longer they stand out in the weather. These are the materials that age with grace rather than wear out.

We keep our range small and considered. Rather than stock a hundred variations of the same thing, we curate a tight collection of pieces we would happily use ourselves, season after season. If it doesn't meet that standard, it doesn't make the shelf.

Whether you tend a windowsill of herbs or acres of border, we hope the pieces you find here become the ones you reach for first — and keep for good.
